Vacation custody

Current custody order states each parents is awarded 2 weeks of uninterrupted custody for parent's annual vacation. Can that 2 weeks be split (say 2 one-week periods)and where is that legally referrenced?

The statement is a little ambiguous, but sounds like you must take the two weeks at a time. If you want to take it on two separate occasions, talk to the other parent and see if they will agree. If not you may wish to file a motion with the court to modify the order. Your local facilitator's office may be able to help you prepare the motion. Its not real difficult and an attorney would be useful, but not necessarily of real great benefit on the motion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
