venue

My daughter wants to get a change of venue from Sacramento to Oakland.

She, now, lives in the bay area with her daughter. Does she have to have an attorney ( to file the change of venue) in Sacramento or can she have an attorney in Oakland do it?

The change of venue has to be filed in the court where the case is pending -- Sacramento.
