Legal Question in Family Law in California

Had a verbal agrement with my ex-wife sevaral years back that I no longer needed to pay her child support. Can she come back and ask for back child support? She has never file for this but keeps me thretening me.

If there is no current order for support, you are not required to pay child support for any amount retroactive to the date of the court order. You should continue to cooperate with your wife so that you do not need to have a formal child support order, however she is able to go to court at any time and request that you be ordered to pay her child support going forward.
