Legal Question in Family Law in California
violation of court orders
I have an attorney. We have one child. Divorce papers are almost ready to sign. Question, my husband has violated direct court orders, twice. No grey areas, direct violations. Every time I ask my attoreny to deal with these problems, she says she calls my husbands attorney, consults with same, husband gets hand slapped and I get a huge bill. Is this what I get to look forward to in dealing with my soon to be ex, our daughter is 12. We have joint legal, I have primary physical. Is this how all attorneys make a living? I will go broke and my little girl will continue to suffer.

It is difficult to give you an "opinion" without first knowing more detail about the nature of the violations as well as the total picture. One remedy may be contempt of court.
