Legal Question in Family Law in California

What happens to visitation at age 18

I have a daughter that just turned 18, does the court ordered visitation now expire or do I have to go back to court to end the ordered visitation. Chils support is not an issue, just visitation

Once your child turns 18, the family law court no longer has jurisdiction over child custody and visitation. Child support can extend past 18 under certain circumstances.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
