visitation, fathers rights

i have a 7 yr. old boy living with his mother, she has full legal custody and i have ''reasonable visitation rights''. i have been paying child support for over 6 yrs. @ 390.00 a month... his mother and i were never married. there is no restraining order against me and i have never been arrested in my life. she has moved with my son out of state without even giving me a chance to say goodbye to my son. it does state in the support order that i have visitation rights. what do i do???

You should immediately contact an attorney who is familiar with move-away cases. The longer you delay the less succesful you will be. Time is of the essence. If this is real recent you may be able to get an order requiring her to move back with the child. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
