visitation before guardianship hearing

I am appling for guardianship of grandson(who lives with me)papers are to be served in the next couple of days. until the hearing in about 2 weeks, should I not let the baby's father take baby out as he usually does until after the hearing?

It's hard to guide you under the circumstances. Just follow the court orders. If you're concerned about the father taking off with his child, then don't give him the opportunity. You should at least make sure he's served with the papers before giving him access to the child.
