Legal Question in Family Law in California

At my visitation hearing, the judge ordered the recommendations made by the Court Investigator. The recommendations covered holidays. My ex-wife and I agreed on a couple of changes and filled out and signed a Stipulation and Continuance with these changes which started with the language, "Do not adopt current holiday schedule...". However, on the Stipulation, Thanksgiving was not addressed as an oversight on my part. According to the original recommendations, I am to hav custody on Thanksgiving on even numbered years. My question is, does this order stand or is the WHOLE holiday recommendations overrode by the Stipulation? Or does the Stipulation only override what is actually stated? Thanks!

Your question is a little unclear. My sense is that you and your ex-wife should review the agreement and ask for a modified order that wholly reflects your agreements and understandings. If it is confusing for you to understand what you wrote, it will not be any clearer for the judge. You could also try for a modification that only addresses the Thanksgiving issue. Good luck with this.
