visitation

my husband has alternating weekends and alternating holidays for visitation and his ex is now telling him that if he want's to see his children that he has to ask for them. is that true?

Re: visitation

He does not have to request visitation as it has been court ordered. To reduce tension and hopefully to improve the relationship between the parents, he should consider verifying that he will be there for the visit. That is call or send a message that he will be there for the visit. He could call and state that his is verifying that he will be picking the children up for his visit.
