Legal Question in Family Law in California

Visitation Rights.

my question is this i was divorced in ca. and i was told that i have supervised visits and I pay no child support. My ex wants me to come to california and see the kids. Am I walking into a trap. I am not sure what to do.

You could be served with a motion for modification no matter where you are at, even in your home state. Going to California doesn't really change that. You state that you were told you have supervised visitation and no child support. Get a copy of your judgment so you will know your legal obligations and rights. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

You need to contact a California attorney.

It could be a trap to serve you with a modification. However, only a CA attorney would know the anser.
