Re: visitation

Depending on the court order you have, if there are spelled out visitation times and she denying you those, you could take her before the court for contempt of a court order. This is criminal in nature and can carry jail time or a fine.

However, if the order only spells out that you have reasonable or liberal visitation and this is being denied, it may be trickier to file a contempt motion. Alternatively, you may want to file an OSC re: modification of child custody and visitation to establish a more structured visitation schedule. In support of your position, you may want cite the number of times you have tried to see your daughter and have been prevented. A definitely court order with times and dates that you are to see your daughter may be exactly what you need to get visitation time with your daughter.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, or would like to talk about your options.

Good Luck!
