I want my visitations rights, but the mother of the child(my son) didn't put me on the birth certificate. How can i get my visitation rights when the child is in another state?

You need to file a paternity action to establish your rights. You probably need to file in the State of the child's residence. You may be able to file in California, however, it is unlikely unless the child has lived in the other state for less than six months or she took the child to the other state to hide the child from you. Contact an attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
