Legal Question in Family Law in California
Visitiation/Custody rights during a seperation.
I am seperated from my husband while I undergo outpatient treatment for opiate addiction. I attend N/A meetings every day, have no record or convictions, and voluntarily sought treatment. My husband is now refusing to allow me anything other than supervised visits with our 6 year old son. There have been no legal filings as of yet. What kind of action can I take against my husband for refusing to allow more visits and overnight stays with my son. He's living with friends, I am currently staying with my parents.

Go for visitation in court. File an Order to Show Cause. Worst case scenario is that the judge orders monitored visitation, but you can always ask if your parents can monitor.
Usually, these types of situations work themselves out over a short amount of time.
Also, volunteer to do random drug testing.
