Legal Question in Family Law in California

visting rights

My grandchildren were taken from her several years ago by C.P.S. My niece and her girlfriend took them in. They ended up adopting the children. I lived with my grandchildren for most of thier life. I was granted visiting 1 time per week by C.P.S. After the adoption, the visit's stopped. I send my Niece a letter asking her why which I did not recieve any response from them. My daughter can only see them 2 times per year. I want to take them to court to get visitation righs. I no longer speak to the adopted parents. They have refused to reason with me and my grandchildren have suffered because of this but I have suffered from the day the visits stopped. I believe it is important that the children and I continue to have a relationship. Thier is no reason what so ever for my visitations to stop! How do I go about filing a request for regular visits with my Grandchildren???? please help me if you can. I work but I do not have much money for an Attorney.

Thank you so much!!
