How does one go about getting a marriage declared ''void''?

I believe that the word for which you are searching is "annulled." An annulment means that the parties were never married because of a preexisting marriage; nonage; fraud as to an essential of the marriage such as concealing disease; falsely representing a desire to have children or not to have children or misrepresentation as to religious affiliation, among other things.
