Legal Question in Family Law in California

Voiding a Prenup in California

Is there a statute in California that voids prenups after 10 years of marriage? And if so, how or is that affected by the fact that California is a member of the Uniform Premarital Agreement Act?

I am not aware of such a statute. If you send me an e-mail, I will send you a copy of the relevent fFamily Code Sections governing Pre Marital Agreements.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
