Legal Question in Family Law in California

wage & earnings witholding

I have a wage & earnings (judgement) for my ex-husband for child support. He resigned his position 3 months ago and is not working. He has money in his bank account. Can his bank account be attached for child support?

Yes.

The first step is to get the family court to determine the amount of the arrears and then obtain a court order that states the amount of the arrears.

You should then be able to get a writ of attachment and attach his mank accounts.
