Is there ANY way out of having to wait for 6 months for a divorce filing in California to be considered complete by the state?

You can file a Judgment with the Court prior to the six months, but the marital status cannot be terminated prior to six months after the date the Respondent was served with the divorce papers. This will allow the orders from the Judgment to go into effect immediately, but you must wait for the marital status to terminate.
