Legal Question in Family Law in California
My ex wife (custodial parent) refuses to pay her half of child care. Our order states that child care is to be split 50/50. She is now self employed so she discontinued our previous provider during the school year. The kids spend 1/2 the summer with me 35 miles away. I enrolled them into Y camp, like last summer, so I could work. She said she could not afford camp and that the kids could stay with her or that she would pick them up and drop them off daily. I did not trust her to be on time, many issues of lateness. Before any thing could be finalized, we fought and stopped talking, so the kids went to camp. I have provided all receipts,
Is she responsible for reimbursement?

The simple answer is yes. You may have to file an Order to Shoe Cause (O.S.C.) to determine arrears, amount owed to you. She owes it as long as it was so you could work.

It would depend on the terms of your child custody agreement.
