Legal Question in Family Law in California
My wife took our two daughters from me in the state of idaho to california. She took my car, $4000 dollars and left the state 8 months ago. I got a lawyer in idaho, received a divorce and was awarded full physical custody from the state of Idaho. My problem is that she is in California with my kids and will not let me speak to them and wont cooperate with the court order. What are my options since it is an issue between two different states?

Two things come to mind. If your District Attorneys Office has a child recovery unit, you may want to get your court to pick up the child. In the alternative you may contact the D.A. Child Recovery unit in the county where the mother resides. Possibly also contact the police department where she lives to go with you to pick up the child.
Ultimately though, once back in court, the amount of time you waited to get legal help to recover your child, may work against you. A qualified lawyer could help. Good luck!

If you reside in Idaho and the Idaho orders are still valid, please consult with a local attorney concerning your options in that jurisdiction.
