Legal Question in Family Law in California
My wife and I are getting a divorce and the children have her last name and I want them to have the my last name added to the children and she is not opposed to this. Can I had this as an addendum to the divorce proceedings or do I have to file a seperate motion?

Restoration of a spouse's maiden name is the only name change that can be done in a divorce proceeding. Other name changes require a name change proceeding.
