Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife and I are divorced. I am currently un-employed because of budget cuts. She is a college teacher. I have our son most of the time. Shouldn't she give me some money each month because she is working and I'm not. I do have our son more often then not? It is a financial strain. She won't take him more than she has him already.

You need to file for a modification of your custody and support orders. Modify the custody to match the reality and then recalculate support on your new income situation and the true custody schedule.
