Is a wife entitled to information from husband's employer regarding his pay?

My husband is in sales and paid a salary plus commission. His salary is deposited directly into our checking account but his commission checks are not. I called his employer and asked for an accounting of his last six commission checks and she said she had to get his ok first. Is a wife not entitled to request this information from her husband's employer without his permission?

No. She can get that information by way of a subpoena duces tecum. This document will require the employer to provide you with this imformation.
