Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife and I are informally sperated. She oringally was going to live in another state and our son was to visit us 6 months at a time in the future about a year or 2 from now. She decided she would live in los angeles in the same city as me so that our son could have us both relatively close. However she had decided to stay in Florida state where she is currently vacationing with our son and has decided to take keep him to live there instead of bringing him back. She is willing to bring him back for his bday. What are my options?

You need to get a custody case on file immediately and obtain an order for the child to return to CA. If you do not do that within 6 months from when he left his legal residence will become FL. FL courts will enforce an order from CA to return the child, and if it comes to it charge her with parental kidnapping, but only for six months.
