Legal Question in Family Law in California

Wife left the house with baby

While I was at work, my wife of three years packed her stuff and the baby and headed to the airport yesterday, probably going overseas to her parents. I just added her name to the title of my house three weeks ago. What steps do I need to take to be able to sell the house and what should I do in case she comes back in couple of months ?

the loan is under mu name, I made all the payments since she never worked.

You should file a dissolution or legal separation right away so that any increase in the value of your home will be credited to you. You still have a separate interest in the home and this is a child stealing case. You should get legal advice. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
