Legal Question in Family Law in California

Wife receiving back child support for child I supported for 15 years...am I also

I am recently divorced after 15 years of marriage. My ex-wife had a 1 year old when we were married for which she never received any child support. Upon our divorce, she contacted her child's father (who has no other children and has done quite well for himself), and is now receiving child support from him.

We also have two children together, for which I am paying child support through Family Support services, while we are trying to work out a joint custody agreement.

My question is this: Am I entitled to back-child support for the 15 years I supported my step-daughter? And, if so, how do I go about pursuing this? I am struggling financially and do not have any legal resources.
