Legal Question in Family Law in California

I don't know what to think

My wife and I seperated and I paid child support directly to

her.She decided to go to welfare and child support, I guess

to try to get more money. Anyway I settled out of court with

child support, and there is a 200.00 difference in the amount.

Now I am paying the support directly to child support and

not to her. I also got signed receipts from my soon to be ex

-wife for the support that I was providing, that she did not

report to welfare,or anyone that she had received. Now I re-

cently found out that she got married, and we haven't even

filed for divorce yet. What options do I have?

Thank you for your time

Re: I don't know what to think

The problems are hers not yours. I would suggest that you file for a dissolutions and get some custody orders in place. You will need to do that to protect your rights. It appears that your ex-wife doesn't respect your rights so you will need some orders in place. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
