Legal Question in Family Law in California
My wife & I have been seperated for 13 yrs.. I live in Az. & she in Calif. We have 3 kids between us ( 1 that is still under 18). Since 2001 shes received my tax refunds as well as wage garnishment @ $996.00 a month towards rears & child support. I don't make half of what I did in Calif. I have a new family with 1 common child & 2 step sons of 11 yrs. I know she still works full time. So what can be done to get a handle on these issues? Financially im loosing my tail end.

You should have filed for a modification of support when your income dropped and when the new child arrived. Support can only be modified back to the date you file a request for it to be modified, so get something on file ASAP. You would file the motion in the same case as the original support order, or you can finally get around to filing for divorce and make the modification request in that new case.
