Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am a wife of a sex addict. He's cheated.. Prostitutes, trans etc before and during our marriage. He went to a six week intensive last year and I've tried to make it work. He's relapsing and he gave me a STD. I need an attorney that is knowledgeable about these circumstances

Unless they have personal or family experience with these issues, you are unlikely to find an attorney who has such experience. This is because the law long ago gave up on dealing with fault and misconduct as a component of Family Law proceedings - unless it involves domestic violence or mistreatment of children. So as terrible as this has been for you, it is not considered relevant in any divorce or other proceedings. You may be able to sue him for giving you the STD, but it's not likely to be worth it financially unless he gave you HIV. At best it may only be a bargaining chip in the property and support settlement in a divorce. If you would like to proceed with a divorce, I can certainly help you and use his misconduct as at least some leverage in the process. I have an office in Walnut Creek and conference facilities in Pleasant Hill, if you would like to make an appointment for an initial consultation.
I suggest you see a good doctor first.
