Legal Question in Family Law in California

Wife will not let me talk to children

My wife and I are seperated byt not legally. She has our kids in another state and she will not return or take my phone calls. I have not spoken to them in over eight weeks. Are there any legal charges that I can file against her. Are there any abduction laws that could apply to this situation.

Re: Wife will not let me talk to children

How long has it been since she has moved the children out of state. If it has been less than 6 months, file an action immediately in California requesting custody and/or visitation. If she has been out of state for over 6 months you will probably have to file the custody motion in the state that she lives. Seek advice of a California attorney about how to file and jurisdiction.
