Legal Question in Family Law in California

Wife's Stuff

My wife filed for divorce we signed

the papers and filed with the court I

bought her share of the house. I

paid her and she signed on papers

releasing interest in the property.

The property is on my name now.

however she takes her time taking

her stuff from my garage. it's been 2

more than 2 month since the house

is on my name and she hasn't

cleared it. I sent her email saying

that she has to take it by certain

date but she hasn't done it. Can I

get rid of it? some of the stuff is

furniture and some are paper from a

previous business she owned.

What are my options?

Thank you.

Re: Wife's Stuff

NO you will have to file a motion in court requesting that the court order her to remove her property by a certain date or you can move it to a storage facility at her expense.
