Does a witness have to be in the discovery in order to testify in a divorce case.

"In the discovery" is too vague. If you mean, however, that discovery was sent out requesting the identification of witnesses, then yes the witness had to be disclosed if they are to testify. That said, however, there are many exceptions. There just is no simple answer.
