Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was wondering, during child custody mediation, can I tell the mediator that I dont want my kids around my ex husbands sister in law? due to safety reasons for my children. She is bipolar and abuse towards her husband and does not like me and I am afraid of the safety of my children if they are around her when my ex and I separate. I am afraid she might do something crazy to my kids.
