Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am wondering if I can move to Minnesota with my son. I am not married to his father. We have not gotten the court involved yet. I am getting assistance from the state. Food stamps, six, cash aide.

The question you need the answer too is how can you move to Minnesota without having problems with father and the court. The first question is what involvement has father had in your son's life since birth? If father has had some visitation with your son you should get written consent to take your son to Minnesota. If he will not give his written consent they you should get a court order allowing you to move to Minnesota. Consulting with a local attorney regarding the move away would provide better information regarding the move.
