My X husband passed away recently, CAN I GET SOME OF HIS RETIREMENT? He was remarried 12 years ago. We were married 29 years.

That depends upon whether your dissolution judgment mentions the retirement plan and whether there are any residual benefits for survivors. If the judgment either gives you a portion of the plan or does not mention the plan you may have a claim. You need to have your judgment reviewed by a family law attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
