Legal Question in Family Law in California

its been a year and im trying to get along with my babys father, i have sole custody and physical custody.i tried to do things right, i had let him spend nights with her daugther he will see her more often. but it seems he being irresponsible doesnt take her to school. can this change anything in court, if he already spend nights with her. he smokes weed. my daugther has asthma.
