Legal Question in Family Law in California

For over a year now, ever since my wife and I had a joint account, she has incurred overdraft fees that total over $2000. And she also arranged to make payments to a vacation resort in Mexico without my consent. We have decided to separate the accounts, but I want to know if I can sue her in small claims court for the accumulated overdraft fees and vacations payments that I did not consent to.

Thanks

No. And to make matters worse separating accounts will not protect you from liability for debts she incurs going forward either. The only way to protect yourself from liability for debts incurred during marriage, is to end the marriage.
