Legal Question in Family Law in California
Several years ago I married a man because I got pregnant. (Bad idea, I now know that) Little did I know he had been in and out of prison several times and ended up being very abusive.i was granted a dv restraining order and was granted full custody. Our marriage was annulled due to a prior marriage he had been in was not resolved completely. He has monitored visits at a court appointed location. He has even went as far as to tey and blackmail me and when i wouldnt give in to his demands he called dcps on me as the police. Dcps case was immediately closed due to lack of evidence to support his claims. Now he has threatened again since his new wife now supposedly works at dcps. They say it doesnt matter now what the case is she woeks there and theyll win.no matter what. Is this legal for him to do?
