The CFRA and the FMLA apply to employers with 50 or more employees within a 75 mile radius of the workplace.
However, you should be aware of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, which applies to employers of 5 employees or more. It requires employers to permit employees to take up to 4 months off for a pregnancy related disability. It does not require an accommodation for baby bonding.
