Legal Question in Medical Leave in California

Family Medical leave Act of 1993

I'm presently on FMLA due to Crohn's Disease. Friday I took FMLA leave and was called by my supervisor at HOME, telling me that he needs advance notice of when I'm ill. Does this constitute harrassment?

Not in and of itself. If the need for leave is foreseeable, you are required to give reasonable notice. If that is not possible, it should be done as soon as is practical under the circumstances. Discuss this with human resources to set the rules straight and ask them to explain it to your manager.
