fmla

One day while i happen to be off to go to the doctors, the rescue group ask me if i could to go free a dog from the public shelter. so i did. my company found out and now they are saying i'm using the fmla to save dogs, which is insane. can they terminate for this.?

Is any of your health problem related to work? If so, it may be Work Comp. If you are located in Orange, San Diego or Imperial counties, you can email me your contact info, so we can discuss your particular situation. There is no charge for consultation.
Re: fmla
Yes. Applying for FMLA certifies you are too sick or too 'something' tp be able to work, so working/volunteering at another job outside the home while on FMLA would be reasonably viewed by your employer as fraud. And, since you admit you were 'saving a dog', how is it "insane" for them to say you were 'saving a dog'?
