Legal Question in Medical Leave in California

Partial use of FMLA

I would like to work part time using my remaining family medical leave to bond with my child. Employer says that I must take leave in 2 week periods. The employer does not have a policy and is indicating that the law permits them to regulate this in the above way Thank you

-I would have to see the policy, but the general rule under California law is that you are entitled to 12 weeks and not required to take in specific increments.
