Legal Question in Medical Leave in California

Sick and Vacation pay and FMLA

My employer paid me for all my sick leave and vacation time I had. It was paid on the pay period following my leave.I need to know what date should be listed as my first day of leave since they paid me for 2 weeks after my first day of leave. Should it be the day after all my pay was paid out or my first actual day off work?

Your leave starts the first day you are not at work due to your request for medical leave.
