Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
2 days ago my dog went into my neighbors yard and killed his dog, they say they are not going to persue legal action against me but they are pretty shady people. If i have them sign a statement saying they are not going to persue legal action and thn later they decide to would that save me!?

They can sign a binding waiver of their rights, but I don't see why they would unless you give them something in exchange.
If you do want some sort of written agreement with your neighbors, you should have a lawyer draft it for you. Something you come up with on your own will probably not be as effective as you want it to be.
