Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Abstract of Judgment
I received an abstract of judgment placing a lien on any real property I have. What is considered real property? I do not own a house. The only thing I own is my car.

Re: Abstract of Judgment
It means real estate. If you ever purchase real estate, and the abstract of judgment is recorded in the county in which you purchase the real estate, the lien will attach.
