alienation of effection

If my husband had an affair and stop having sex with me, could she bes sued for her actions? I am confident had she not pursued my husband for 5 years, he would not of every had any other women. and it was in the last 18 mos of the relationship that it got physical and he stopped showing me any effection.

No. California got rid of this type of lawsuit many years ago. Very few states still allow it today.

Mr. Starrett is entirely correct. But also, what would you achieve by filing suit? Your husband would hate you for making his improper behavior public, the other woman could argue he would not have had sex with you even if no other woman was involved, your private life becomes very public, the other side would not settle so it would have to go to trial and cost you in excess of $20,000,the judgment you might get probably would not be collectible, etc.

Part of the reason for banning these suits is the amount of harm they cause to everyone.
