Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
application retrieval
Hi! can I retrieve an application from a
company that has issued a credit card, through
fraudulent means with me as a joint credit
member? The person that opened the account
stole my Identity to open the account.
I am a victim of Identity theft. The fraud
dept. say they have no application, but the
card company must! have something,in order
to issue a card.
Please let me know A.S.A.P
I will not have this e-mail address after sept.
Here is another e-mail address:
Thanks.

Re: application retrieval
First thing is for you to cancel the credit card. Also, notify your local district attorney and the Federal Trade Commission about what the credit card issuer is not doing to help you. You are right about them not having an application. You cannot get the card without some sort of written approval.
Re: application retrieval
Not like you think. If the credit card company is seeking money against you and they have reported you to a credit reporting agency, then you can write the reporting agency and dispute the report. You would say you never filled out an application. Then if the credit card company sends the application to the credit reporting agency, you may demand to see that application. If not, then, there is no way you can get that application absent litigation.
