Auto fraud
I was recently failed my smog test and toke my car to dealership for digidnostic and was told that my catolythic converter needed to be change and this was why i did not pass smog. After paying 956.00 for repair my car barely pass the smog test on the boarded of failing. Becasue of the laws in the state of california the place that performed the smog test could not tell me what the problem was but did tell me it was miner. When i almost failed again and told them what i had repaired and what i paid. He said again i can not tell you what the problem by law. So he toke me to picture that on the wall show all the reasons that you may fail a smog test and pointed to and aera where my problem was a why a fail the test. The was because of disdributor caps very miner. I phoned the mozda dealer service manager and left message explaining what happen and now they will not take responsibility of return my calls. What can i do?

Contact the department of motor vehicles department in charge of car repairs. Report what happened. You may want to also have the distributor cap and rotor replaced and then retest the vehicle for emmisions. A significant reduction in emmissions would help prove your point.
