Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

AN AUTOBODY SHOP WON'T FIX MY CAR RIGHT

I took my car to an autobody recommended by a local dealership. After 3 weeks I picked it up w/ no air conditioning, alignment, gas, broken gear shift, broken windshield, etc. I paid my $500 deductible and now the owner says I can bring it in for another couple of weeks to fix but I have to give a $250 deposit on a rental car. I cannot do that and he says 'tough'. I pulled up liens and lawsuits on the corporation and owner. Now I don't want my car fixed there. My insurance says I have to since he billed for those services above. I want to fax a letter and copies of all the legal info I found (public info) to all places he gets references from (dealerships, etc). Can I do this legally w/o him suing me? Thank You

Bad Auto Repair

Forget going on a crusade. Call the Bureau of Automotive Repair and your local Better Business Bureau. You can make complaints to them without having to worry about "retaliation." The crusade you are contemplating is unlikely to accomplish anything other than causing you grief.THIS INFORMATION IS BASED ON GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF LAW AND IS PROVIDED AS A COURTESY ONLY. DELAY, FAILURE TO ACT, OR IMPROPER ACTS CAN RESULT IN A COMPLETE LOSS OF LEGAL RIGHTS.
