Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Battery
My sons attends a non public school in Covina. The kids are ranging from moderate to severe psychological challenges. My sons was victimized by another student by choking him with a radio extension cord when his back was turned from the classroom drinking water at the fountain. The teachess aide was in the classroom and did nothing at the onset. After my son fail to his knees begging for this boy to stop, the teach finally got up from his seat and tried to get the boy to release the cord from around his neck. Another student came over and told the boy if he did not stop he would hit him in the face, after those instructions the boy put the cord down. This incident happened in the morning between 9 and 10am. I was not informed of anything until I picked my son up after 2pm.

Re: Battery
I do not know if your son suffered any damages, but in the least, I would have an attorney write a letter to the school telling them not to let this happen again.
